Materials Support

More materials in community hands means more opportunities to create.

At ReMix It we love seeing reclaimed materials become art projects, classroom activities, community events, and hands-on experiences. Community Materials Support helps local educators, nonprofits, community groups, artists, and other community-minded makers bring those projects to life with affordable materials from ReMix It.

Approved requests receive $25 off one in-store purchase of ReMix It materials for a specific class, event, program, or community project.

Who Can Request Materials?

Teachers and educators purchasing materials for students
Nonprofit organizations and community groups serving the local community
Artists and makers leading a community-serving class, workshop, or project
Libraries, youth programs, and other educational programs

Requests must be for a specific project, class, event, or program serving a group of people. Materials are not available for personal projects, individual shopping, commercial businesses, or materials intended for resale. Requests may be submitted once every six months. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval and depends on volume of requests per month.
